Our Story

WHO ARE WE?

Located in the North Eastern Himalayas, Guruschool is the first Art & Music school in the Valley of Sittong, West Bengal.The school is rooted in the belief that both Art & Music is are tools for healing and empowerment. Every child should be able to learn both Art & Music using them in their lives as mediums for self expression, healing and connection and love for everyone and also the Universe. Guruschool is a non profit school run on donations & contributions from various supporters of our cause. At Guruschool we teach various art forms like sketching, water colour painting, acrylic painting in Art along with Guitar, ukulele, Vocals, Hindustani Classical, Percussions & flute in Music.
At GuruCool, our online Art store, you can purchase items infused with art that are created by our beloved students.
Every time you buy a product from our store, you contribute towards Art supplies & Music instruments for our students
along with a fixed revenue for every student whose artwork gets sold every time someone orders a product from our store.

You can learn music & art through our online classes. You can pick from a variety of subjects such as Water colour painting, sketching, guitar, ukulele, acrylic painting, hindustani classical etc. All classes will be conducted online via Zoom/ WhatsApp or Google meet
